As of the 6th of October, 2024 VFS Contact handles Schengen (“C-type”) and "D-type" (family reunification) visa applications for Hungary in Baghdad and in Erbil.
Long-term resident visa (“D-type”) applications for purposes other than family reunification continue to be handled exclusively by the Consulate General of Hungary in Erbil.
