Attestation
We wish to inform applicants that our Consulate General provides services for the authentication of signatures and the certification of true copies.
The fee for signature authentication is 35 USD, payable in cash at the time of application.
For private individuals, the fee is charged per signature, while for corporate signatories, it is charged per act of signing. However, if your signature requires authentication on a multi-page document that constitutes a single instrument—and where the intended use requires the client to sign every page (such as a multi-page contract)—the fee will be charged only for the signature or corporate signature affixed at the end of the document.
For a certified copy, the fee must be paid for each document. The fee is charged for the first page and for every subsequent block of six pages (or part thereof); for instance, if a document consists of 15 pages, the fee for preparing a certified copy must be charged three times.
Appeal
Please be advised that in the event of a visa application refusal, the applicant has the right to appeal the decision.
For C Type visa applications, an appeal may be submitted within 8 days of receiving the refusal decision. For D Type visa applications, the appeal deadline specified in the refusal decision applies.
In both cases, the appeal fee is 183 USD, payable in cash at the time of submission. The appeal is based on an appeal letter in which the applicant may state their objections to the decision. There are no specific formatting requirements for the letter; however, it must be formal, signed, and submitted in hard copy. Any supporting documents substantiating the contents of the appeal letter may be attached.
