The Consulate General visited the archaeological research team of Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), which has been conducting excavations and research in the Kurdistan Region for the past ten years, at the Grd-i Tle site in the Rania Plain. The research focuses on the eastern frontier of the Neo-Assyrian Empire, where Hungarian archaeologists have uncovered significant historical and archaeological findings.
