We welcomed the start of the new school year with a Family Day at the Consulate General. As part of a joint drawing and painting program, the children had the opportunity to create art on the theme “What makes your world a happy place?”; in addition, participants enjoyed games, a BBQ, and traditional Hungarian goulash. The event provided a great opportunity for representatives of EU member states to meet with Kurdish and Arab families, showing that communities from different cultural backgrounds are united by many shared values.
