On 27 September 2025, the Consulate General of Hungary in Erbil participated with its own stand in the European Day of Languages event organized by the Goethe Institute and the French Institute, where the visitors could learn about the languages of the participating countries in an interactive way.
Visitors were able to gain insight into the unique Hungarian language and culture, receive information about various study scholarship programs and related Hungarian language learning opportunities, and watch a playful – spiced with some Hungarian historical knowledge – grammar course at the Hungarian table.
